They control two-thirds of the market for routers and is a major maker of LAN switches. Other products include dial up access servers and network management software. Cisco is using acquisitions to broaden its product line and is licensing products to widen the influence of its Cisco Internetwork Operating System software in hopes of making it an industry standard.
